To save when you shop the best thing to do is buy In large amounts if you can not afford to do this Get another family or another person to shop with you if single two or more people

Divide the big items .

Like rice buy in 8 kg bag ,flour in twenty lb bag, Potatoes in 20 lb bag check if this is cheaper most times it is. buy pasta in large bags . Cases 12 cans of soup ,cases of puddings ,Cases of yogurt If you wish cases of mac and cheese but in the recipes I have Given you you can make your own cheaper.

Buy navy beans( I have given you recipes for beans and pork in tomato sauce) from bulk bins always check the bulk bins

Things are much cheaper in bulk bins .

Buy large packages of frozen vegetables remember the mixed small cubed vegetables are half the price of the others.

In the store where I shop chicken thighs that are frozen in big bags are cheaper than Fresh ones be sure they are not frozen together and are easy to separate. I feel they are the most meat for the price. Buy ground beef in large club pack trays and separate into meal size packages when you get home.

Buy your tissues and toilet tissue and paper towels in large amounts.

Unless there is a sale .

Some stores sell cereal in large plastic bags others sell in large boxes

Check and you will find that the store brand or no name brands are

Most often cheaper.

Try to buy what you want when there is a sale get more than one for a cheaper price.

Use your washed margarine or other plastic containers from food to store stuff in the fridge buy the plastic bags that you use that have twist ties not zip locks you will find they are cheaper. Use jars that you have used the food out of to store other foods in. Use tins with plastic lids to store dry foods in (coffee tins ,hot chocolate tins )buy your coffee in a big tin also buy your hot chocolate in a big tin it is much cheaper than in smaller tins or packages .Tea can be bought in a big box or bag.

Cookies can be bought in big amounts . There are also many recipes in this website that you can make that will save you money .
